John Calipari, of the newly minted no. 1 team in the nation, joined John Buccigrass on Sportscenter via telephone to talk about his top ranking. Buccigrass went through the standard line of questions, talking about expectations, blahblahblah, before asking about his Memphis team from a few years ago (close but so far away). Calipari got a little heated before asking Bucci if he was from northern Pennsylvania. Brett Favre’s daughter, Brittany, has given birth to a son, making the 40-year-old quarterback a first-time grandfather.

If you’ve been following the Brett Favre offseason story, it’s one that seems a bit repetitive over the past few seasons. you may find this hard to believe, but Favre has yet to make a decision about his football future. the 40-year-old NFL veteran of 19 seasons has done the “maybe I’ll come back, maybe I won’t” thing the previous few offseasons, becoming so famously fickle that he even made fun of his indecisive nature in a Sears commercial last year. well, now he may have another reason fueling that uncertainty; he’s a grandpa.
