This year’s best actress Oscar nominees stepped out today at the Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills. Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Hailee Steinfeld, Helena Bonham Carter, and Melissa Leo all stopped by the interview room to talk about their Oscar-nominated performances, awards-season style, and why their roles spoke to them. Amy said she had great respect for costar Christian Bale‘s method approach to acting, and Natalie said being “drawn to the world of dance” attracted her to Black Swan. Meanwhile, a Chanel-clad Michelle said she missed her Blue Valentine costar Ryan Gosling, who wasn’t at the luncheon. Surprisingly, he didn’t score a nod for his work in the movie.

Less than one moths after filing for divorce from his wife, James Van Der Beek is romantically linked to model Kimberly Brook. Van Der Beek filed for divorce from actress wife Heather McComb on November 13, after more than five years of marriage citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation.Now, Star Magazine reports that James and Kimberly Brook first met during a vacation in Israel back in August. Then, just days after filing for divorce, they have been spotted enjoying a night out at Los Angeles bar The Roger Room. “He really likes her. They have a blast just talking and hanging out. Now that James is officially free, he and Kim both want to take their relationship to the next level,” a source tells the magazine. so now we can’t help but wonder if Kimberly Brook was the final and real reason for which James decided to get divorce. of course he and Heather were having issues for some time, but yet the model may be the decisive drop.

A: Adoption data are collected to inform the government of the growing diversity of U.S. families and to provide information to better effect government policies related to tax assistance to families with adopted children, programs that encourage adoption or programs that assist families who adopt children, according to Census Bureau officials. many of those programs and potential legislative actions are listed by the National Council for Adoption at adoptioncouncil.org/policy/fed_leg.html. The Census Bureau provides only the national and state level information to the council on the number of adopted children and the characteristics of those families who adopt children.
