CLEVELAND — Cavs owner Dan Gilbert fired back sharply to LeBron James after James announced he was leaving Cleveland for Miami.
In an open letter to Cavs fans distributed to the media, Gilbert called James “a former hero” and his decision “a cowardly betrayal.”

Missing Postal Worker’s Body Found At Dump

HAYWARD, Calif. — The body of postal employee who had been reported missing early Monday morning was found at a dump where the contents of a Dumpster from the post office had been taken, according to police, KTVU-TV in San Francisco reported.Hayward Police had received the report of the missing employee at about 4:45 a.m. the employee’s car was parked at the post office, but the worker was nowhere to be seen.As investigators were searching the premises and interviewing other workers, authorities learned the trash Dumpster at the post office had recently been emptied.Officer got in touch with Waste Management and determined that one of the companies trash collectors had picked up the contents some time before the employee was reported missing. When the missing person couldn’t be found at either the post office or their residence, officers went to the transfer center in San Leandro.after determining where the trash had been unloaded, authorities searched through debris and eventually found a body.
Clippers Blazin’ A New Path?

The Los Angeles Clippers decided to get into this trading business. Marcus Camby has been traded to Portland for Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw.
Marcus Camby was the hardest worker in a Clippers uniform. Granted, the Clippers don't seem to try as hard as they should but he's the heart and soul of that team. twelve boards and two blocks a game for a guy that's turning 36 in a month is not too shabby at all. I mean, to be honest, I don't really think they need to tamper with this team; they just need more time together. but I suppose if Steve Blake does well in this audition, they can have a better back-up point guard for Baron Davis next year as they are clearly looking towards the 2010-11 season. As for the Travis Outlaw acquisition? I think it pretty much signals the end of Al Thornton's tenure as Rasual Butler has clearly been better than Thornton this season. So I think the Clippers are not done dealing. I'd be surprised if they don't make any more moves. Stay tuned. what do Outlaw and Blake bring to the Clippers? From what I've seen, Travis Outlaw can score in bunches. I can't say he's better than Al Thornton but Thornton seems to have fallen out of favor for the Clippers. if Thornton goes (I expect him to be shipped), Outlaw will take his spot and the Clips will see what he can do in that position. Steve Blake would be an upgrade, in my opinion, over Sebastian Telfair. Blake provides better outside shooting and grittiness than Bassy. The Clippers would be in better shape on the PG position if they come in with Blake as the back-up. but let's try not to get ahead of ourselves here because both of these guys are free agents this summer. It's obvious what Marcus Camby brings to the Blazer fold: they need a big guy. Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla were supposed to provide that inside presence but they've been both hurt so they've been giving paint time to Juwan Howard. Juwan Howard. Yeah, that's all I need to say.

so a week or two ago i ordered one of the my pair tree’s sandal tree. a couple of other bloggers had posted about this flip flop tree and i thought i would order one myself.
the sandal tree arrived and what i thought was navy turns out it was brown. i am sort of bummed about the brown background, clearly i thought it was navy from the image from the website. oh well, the tree is a such a great idea!

After a legal process that lasted months, peppy Chattanooga-born restaurant Taco Mamacita in Edgehill Village is now pouring the familiar Mexican and domestic beers that Americans associate with tacos.
Taco Mamacita’s owners Mike and Taylor Monen (who spun it off their popular Chattanooga restaurant of the same name) and business partner Chad Phillips knew that serving beer at Taco Mamacita would require going through a legal process. What they didn’t know was how long that process would take. they opened on Dec. 11; Metro Council approved a variance April 20, allowing them to apply for a beer license, which after a couple of rounds of public comment and study was finally approved by the Metro Beer Permit Board at the end of June.
